Bye for now
I'm going on hiatus.
Due to a combination of procrastination, misunderstanding information, indecisiveness and circumstances beyond my control, I am forced to take four hardcore exams in the next five weeks. The Series 7 is up first, followed by the Series 66 and then two Praxis French exams on Nov. 20th. I won't go into the details of it all now, but seriously for the next five weeks I will be studying like I've never studied before. Failure is not an option. If I don't call, email or reply to anyone, you'll know why. Nothing personal, just gotta take care of business. So, I'm signing off for now. Look for me back here around Thanksgiving. (Like there's very many of you reading this thing anyway.)
Peace, I'm out.

Snaps and a re-cap
My Alzheimer's walk was over a week ago, but I thought the post should be better late than never. First of all, I'd like to give shout outs to those who sponsored me (at least the ones who read this blog) - Michelle and Stacey. Major props. With their help and that of my family I was able to raise $180, which may not seem like much to some, but I'll take it. Next year I will probably start earlier and put in a little more effort, but for now I am happy. Overall the walk raised over $500, 000 which I think is awesome. I'm hopeful that all of this support will get the research we need in order to be spared from this horrible disease. So thanks again gals. You rock.
The walk was pretty cool. It was at Hollywood Park this year and we got to walk on the inside of the track, which I though was neat-o. I walked past David Hyde Pierce and Victor Garber, two men I'm in love with (the first being the one I want to go to the theater with, the second being the one I want to sleep with =) and no, not the reasons I did the walk, but a nice benefit). I also got to see a pink-haired Shelley Fabares (sp?) and Bryan Cranston (who(m?) I'd rather just call Tim Watley). So overall a really cool day.
